Thermal Insulation
We at Gill Insulation consider ourselves one of the main thermal insulation specialists in all different fields/aspects of industrial thermal insulation.
Over the past few years it has been outlined by the government how important thermal insulation actually is due to energy efficiency/cost saving and global warming therefore we believe we can advise you on all different types insulation and protective finishes to all the different mechanical services as listed below.
Ductwork Insulation
What ever the size or service there is a specification for all ductwork systems whether its internal, external, high temperature or low temperature we supply and install all relative services such as:
Base Insulations – Mineral Fibre (Including acoustic)/Rockwool, Flexible & Rigid (Nitrile, Phenolic, PIR), Foam Glass and Calcium Silicate.
Protective & Decorative finishes – Bright Class O, Full range of Aluminium, Full Range of Ventureclad Systems, Aluzinc, Range of stainless steel grades, Galvanised and Plastisol sheeting.
For Your Needs

Valve/Flange etc
We offer the service to measure, manufacture/fabricate, supply and install insulation and covering to all ranges of mechanical valves, strainer’s, motor/pump housings and flanges etc.
Of late the two main preferred by our clients are either purpose made metal boxes (All kinds) and insulated removable flexible covers.
Trace Heating
Gill Insulation have been trace heating since 2002. We provide a full design installation and commissioning service. As well as installing both frost protection and Hot Water Service temperature maintenance heater cable we also install leak detection monitoring systems.
We have trained installation staff who not only install the products, but can also provide maintenance training and carry out demonstrations at your request.

Thermal Imaging Surveys
Gill Insulation offer the service to attend sites throughout the country and carry out a mechanical installation heat loss survey using our thermal imagining camera.
Any pipework service that generates hot or cold works should be insulated for one of many reason such as energy efficiency (Cost Saving), personal protection and frost protection. Our site survey/ camera will identify this and we can advise you on how these problems can be resolved.
Removable Covers
Our Flexible Covers
Flexible covers can easily be fitted to valves and flanges in a matter of minutes, with no special tools required. These are installed by the means of velcro and drawcord.
Each cover is made bespoke to the item it is to be fitted to. The covers are flexible, due to their design & retain the heat in the secured infill, providing high thermal insulation and conductivity levels.
Our trained operatives visit site and carry out a site measure for every project to ensure that the covers are a perfect fit (not universal) to provide a complete insulation covering/ full sealing of all types of mechanical plant on the following – Cold water, Chilled, All types of Hot water, Heating along with high temperature steam/exhaust etc.
